The Man Cave - Inspired by cosmopolitan and chic living spaces encountered during our travels in cities such as New York and London, this is a studio apartment of a doctor who enjoys collecting art pieces and local crafts from his tables. Having returned from a recent overseas stint, the owner desired an updated makeover to his 8-year old apartment. We began by imagining our design interventions serving as a backdrop for the owner's personal collections. With the use of black marquina marble with brass trimmings and  black louvered blinds along the bay window ledge that extends from the living room into the bedroom, filtered light softly enters the dark wood interiors and lands on the splashes of art pieces, finely curated with furniture for an intimate man cave - a honest reflection of the owner's unique sense of character.
